About The Class:

This class is taught using the MikroTik MTCRE curriculum.  In addition, we prepare you for the certification exam by using sample exam questions and practice tests in a review format to ensure you are ready to pass the exam.  Classes will be held in the Country Inn and Suites in Houston (Humble) Texas next to the George Bush International Airport (IAH) in the hotel conference room. MTCRE - MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer

This class is a continuation of the introduction to routing offered in the MTCNA class with a focus on covering all of the software features as well as best practices.  Topics include:

• Review of subnetting
• Static IP routing
• Tunnels (IPIP, EoIP, VLAN)
• Policy routing
• Route filters
• BGP and OSPF
• Routing certification test (1 hr)
• Class Time: 2 days, class begins Monday morning at 8:00 am sharp and ends with thecertification test Tuesday, with completion of the test at 5:00 pm.
• All students taking the exam will receive a free RouterOS Level 4 license

There is no refund for training fee paid, if cancellation is received less than 10 days before the event.

This is an advanced class. You must have already completed the MTCNA class prior to taking any of these classes.

About The Class:

Classes will be held inside the Hotel conference rooms.  The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport and will typically  take you to lunch and dinner as a group.  The class is a combination of lecture and hands on labs so students are required to bring a laptop, two 5 foot Ethernet cables and a power outlet strip.

A null modem serial cable (standard 9 pin D connectors) is helpful but not necessary.

The certification exam will be given with instant test results online.

Discount rooms will be offered, but lodging, meals and travel are at the student's expense.
